What We Install

A clear, family-owned setup.

Homes deserve order. Technology changes quickly. Standards do not. Mah Tovu Guard installs a structured home filtering setup designed to support the tone and values of the household. The goal is not complexity. The goal is clarity.

A clear home setup

We install a dependable home Wi‑Fi environment designed to support healthy digital boundaries — configured thoughtfully from the router outward.

One clear network

We ensure there is one clear, family‑managed network inside the home — no shadow connections, no unmonitored paths.

Device accountability (recommended)

We strongly recommend pairing the home setup with a trusted third‑party accountability platform on the devices that matter most. We help you set it up under the family’s ownership.

Credentials handed over

We demonstrate how everything works, answer questions, hand over all credentials, and leave the household fully in control. Nothing is retained.

Everything belongs to the family.

The Case for Design

Why Architecture Matters

Network-level filtering provides a meaningful foundation, but today’s devices operate beyond simple DNS controls. For that reason, Mah Tovu Guard combines a router-based baseline with device-level accountability where appropriate, creating structured digital boundaries within the home.

Encrypted DNS

Applications and operating systems increasingly use DNS‑over‑HTTPS by default, which can bypass router DNS settings silently. Endpoint accountability helps cover this gap.

Router Resets

A factory reset of a home router removes most filtering configurations in seconds. A single event can undo months of protection with no indication to the household.

Device-Level Circumvention

Many devices include built‑in “privacy” features that can quietly route around basic home filters. A complete setup needs both a network foundation and device‑level accountability.

Single-Layer Failure

Any single control point can fail. A designed system uses a network baseline plus endpoint accountability so that one bypass does not undo the whole.

Mah Tovu Guard uses a layered approach: a properly hardened home router combined with a family‑owned accountability platform where appropriate. Each layer serves a distinct purpose — network filtering establishes a stable baseline, while device‑level accountability provides oversight where needed.

Who This Is For

For families who value clarity.

Mah Tovu Guard is for homes that want structure without tech chaos — and prefer family ownership over outsourced control.

Families

Homes that want a simple, respectful setup aligned with household standards — without tech drama.

Parents

A clear system that’s understandable, manageable, and owned by the family from day one.

Privacy‑Minded Homes

Households that want filtering and accountability without handing control to a third party.

Family Ownership

Installed carefully. Owned completely.

Mah Tovu Guard does not monitor your home, retain passwords, maintain remote access, or provide ongoing management. We install the system, explain it clearly, and return full control to the household.

No monitoring

We do not receive reports or operate a monitoring dashboard. Any accountability tools are managed directly by the family.

No retained credentials

We do not keep usernames, passwords, or recovery codes. Credentials are handed to the household at the end of the visit.

No remote access

We do not leave behind administrative access of any kind. The home remains fully in the family’s control.

Optional annual review: Families may request a yearly check‑in to revisit settings or make adjustments as needs evolve. All access is performed live with the family present. Nothing is retained afterward.
Consultation

A structured planning session.

Each home begins with a planning session, typically about one hour. We discuss your goals, expectations, and household standards before any installation takes place.
